Refund & Cancellation Policy
Pre-Launch Notice
This policy is published for pre-launch informational purposes. Final terms will be confirmed prior to commercial launch. No bookings are currently being accepted.

1. Direct-Pay Rental Cancellations

All fees subject to HST. Final cancellation terms specified in the individual Rental Agreement.
2. Insurance Replacement Rentals
Insurance replacement rentals are governed by the insurer's authorization period, not standard cancellation terms. Rentals end when the insured vehicle is returned from repair or the authorization period expires. Early returns: the insurer is billed only for actual rental days used.
3. Refund Process
Approved refunds for prepaid direct-pay bookings will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of the cancellation request.
4. Vehicle Condition & Damage
Any damage not documented on the pre-rental inspection form is the responsibility of the renter or insurer as applicable. No post-rental damage charges will be assessed without documented evidence.
5. Carvia Cancellation
Carvia reserves the right to cancel a booking if the renter does not meet eligibility requirements. In such cases, any prepaid amount will be refunded in full.
6. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
