Planned Services
All services listed below are planned for launch and are subject to final insurance approval and operational onboarding completion. We are now accepting partner inquiries.
Insurance Replacement Rentals
Carvia's core service โ coordinating vehicle replacements for insurance claimants while their vehicle is being repaired. Designed to work directly with adjusters, insurers, and body shops across Ontario.
Our planned workflow supports OPCF 20 (Loss of Use) and related endorsements on an informational basis. Note: OPCF 20 references are informational only. Carvia does not guarantee insurer approval or specific coverage outcomes.
- Claim number and authorization tracking
- Insurer-specific rate cap compliance
- Direct adjuster booking portal (planned)
- Split billing โ insurer vs. customer portions
- Extension request workflow with adjuster sign-off
Planned Process
How Insurance Replacement Works
Claim Intake
Adjuster or body shop submits referral with claim number, claimant info, insurer, authorization dates, and rate caps.
Vehicle Assignment
Carvia matches the appropriate vehicle class to the OPCF 20 authorization and claimant requirements.
Delivery & Inspection
Mobile delivery to claimant location. Digital inspection form completed and confirmed at handoff.
Monitoring & Updates
Body shop provides repair status updates. Adjuster can track rental window against authorization.
Return & Billing
Vehicle returned, inspection completed. Insurer-approved portion invoiced separately from any customer overruns.
Corporate & Local Mobility
Planned short-term vehicle access for local businesses, professionals, and organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. Subject to final licensing and insurance onboarding completion.
- Business account management
- Monthly invoicing and HST receipts
- Multiple vehicle classes available
- East York and Scarborough service area
- Professional fleet โ no salvage, no modifications
Body Shop & Collision Centre Partners
Carvia is actively building relationships with collision centres and repair facilities ahead of launch. Our planned coordination workflow is designed to reduce friction at every handoff point.
Claim Detail Confirmation
Carvia confirms claim number, claimant identity, insurer, authorization period, and rate cap before vehicle dispatch.
Vehicle Release Coordination
Body shop notifies Carvia of estimated completion date to plan vehicle return logistics and avoid unnecessary rental days.
Insurer-Authorized Billing
Billing routed directly to insurer for approved portion. Customer-pay items handled separately with full audit trail.
